Medical Negligence
HHKC has been representing victims of medical negligence for over half a century. We have litigated these cases in many states, including Louisiana, Mississippi, and Oklahoma. We handle a full range of claims from nursing and hospital negligence, to pharmaceutical liability cases, to failure to diagnose spinal injury resulting in quadriplegia. We also handle cases involving defective medical products (such as Rezulin and Propulsid), healthcare litigation, professional liability, hospital liability, hospital negligence, and medical product liability cases.
What makes our medical negligence practice so uniquely effective is Joseph A. Kott, M.D., J.D. Dr. Kott is a neurosurgeon who has been board certified for over 20 years. His curiosity and drive motivated him to attend Loyola Law School at night, while maintaining a full medical practice during the day. After receiving his Juris Doctorate, Dr. Kott joined HHKC in 1996. He has received numerous awards and often lectures to both lawyers and physicians. The addition of Dr. Joseph Kott gives us the advantage of having an in-house physician/trial lawyer to evaluate medical issues effectively and knowledgeably.
